Lake Baringo is one of the two freshwater lakes of the Kenyan Rift Valley which is home to hippo, crocodile and fish and Lake Bogoria is an alkaline lake and has geysers and mineral spas, it is home to the huge kudu, zebra, flamingo, buffalo and other wildlife .
Day 1: Nairobi- Baringo
Depart in the morning from Nairobi and drive for Lake Baringo viewing the Great Rift Valley. If you are departing from Eldoret, on your way to Baringo you can stop over at the Chebloch gorge, and have a glance at the brave, young divers at the Kerio River. Visit the snake park where you’ll see several types of snakes the puff udders, pythons etc. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at Soi safari lodge/Island camp.
Day 2: Baringo – Bogoria – Nairobi/Eldoret
Enjoy the sunrise on a boat ride at Lake Baringo, a fresh water lake in the Great Rift Valley. The trip also offers great bird watching sessions of the Hamerkop, Rock pigeon, Black cukoo, the African fish eagle and many others.Take breakfast and depart from Baringo for lake Bogoria National park. It one of the few conservation areas that you may go into by foot or bicycle to view huge kudu, zebra, flamingo, buffalo and other wildlife. Depart in the afternoon for Nairobi/Eldoret arriving in the evening.
