Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Morning departure from Moshi to Tarangire National Park, for game-viewing and photography. The park has the thousands of animals including wildebeests, zebras, elands, elephants, buffaloes, hartebeests and more migrate from the Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River. Not surprisingly, lions and other predators find the place attractive.
Afternoon break for picnic lunch then continue with a game drive. In the late evening. In the late evening Leave Tarangire National Park, drive to the campsites at Mto wa Mbu near Lake Manyaraor or Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast drive to the Great Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch. Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, the Serengeti, is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.
Even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.
After you arrive at Serengeti you will continue to explore the vast rich-game animal plains of Serengeti National Park. In the evening leave the Park to drive to the campsites for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Full day game drive to explore the vast rich animals of Serengeti plains. In the evening, you will drive back to your campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Morning game drive en-route the Serengeti or Ngorongoro plains via Oldupai Gorge with your picnic lunch. The Oldupai Gorge provides evidence of the earliest signs of mankind, where hominid footprints are preserved in volcanic rock 3,600,000 years old. Ngorongoro Crater is the world largest caldera measuring 600 meters in depth and covering 250 square kilometers in area. Dinner and overnight at Simba campsite Ngorongoro.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast the morning, descend 610 meters, 20,00 feet down into the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning tour. This collapsed volcano is home to a large concentration of wildlife including lion, rhino, hippo, hyena, and elephant. Afternoon, enjoy lunch by the hippo pond before beginning your drive back to Moshi/ Arusha,
